The 5MW air-cooled doubly-fed wind turbine is the largest doubly-fed wind turbine in China. It adopts radial ventilated air-water cooling structure, box-type seat, three-bearing support, and IP54 protection level of the body; it adopts H-class insulation structure, stator and rotor winding vacuum pressure dipping paint and rotating baking treatment, which makes the generator overall insulation performance excellent and reliable, with high mechanical and electrical strength; the rotor adopts special corona-resistant insulating structure, which has a strong ability of resisting harmonic impacts of frequency converter.
