2.5MW Air-to-Air Cooled Double-Fed Wind Turbine (alpine Type)
The motor can be used in 2.5MW~3.2MW variable-speed doubly-fed wind turbine, suitable for operation in wind farms under -46ºC~50ºC alpine environment; it is suitable for the electrical environment with a wide range of voltage fluctuation of the grid (690V±15%) and wide range of power factor (capacitance 0.894~1~inductance 0.838), and it can provide larger reactive power for the power grid. The motor is mounted in the nacelle, the drive end rotor shaft is connected to the gearbox through a coupling to convert mechanical power into electrical power, the stator is connected to the grid and feeds electrical power back to the grid, and the rotor is connected to the grid through a four-quadrant converter. The rotor is connected to the grid via a four-quadrant converter. The rotor can be operated at up to '-38%' of the synchronous speed, converting mechanical energy into electrical energy.
As a key component of the wind turbine, it mainly includes welded chassis, stator core winding assembly, three-phase wire-wound rotor, insulated end caps, air-to-air cooler, connecting plate assembly, slip-ring chamber and slip-ring brush holder assembly, slip-ring chamber cooling fan, automatic oil filler, stator/rotor junction box, auxiliary junction box, and encoder.
